Questions

Why would State Fund want me in a group program?

Past State Fund experience has shown that accounts belonging to trade associations tend to have fewer losses and are more apt to renew with State Fund.

What will my rates be?

All State Fund groups will experience an up front discount providing lower rates than similar State Fund policies. Your rates will remain the same until the anniversary of the group, or your policy anniversary date.

What about certificates of insurance?

A new certificate will automatically be issued by State Fund reflecting the new group policy number.

How much does it cost to be a member of the group?

Our dues are based on your estimated premium amount. Please see the following chart to determine the appropriate annual dues for your policy.
$0.00 - $5,000 = $75.00
$5,001 - $12,000 = $200.00
$12,001 - Up = $300.00

Will I still be insured with the State Fund?

Yes, CCAA endorses the group program, but State Fund is the insurance carrier.

Will I still have the same agent or representative from the local State Fund office?

Yes, the policy is still handled by your agent or your local State Fund office. The Association has representatives in the Sacramento Group Program Department of State Fund who can assist you whenever necessary.

Will I need to send in additional premium money?

No, your premiums and deposit will be electronically moved to your new group policy.
